Annual goals. Quarterly objectives. Weekly follow-through.
Design data-driven annual goals with Q1–Q4 objectives, then follow through every week: accommodated versions of any assignment, evidence logged against this quarter's objective, charts with quarter markers, quarterly progress-report drafts and service-minute tracking, all encrypted on your own device.
Annual goals. Quarterly objectives. Weekly follow-through.
IEP goals are written for the year and checked each quarter. This tool keeps both in view every week: Monday shows this quarter's objective for each goal, you log evidence as you go, and Friday rolls it up toward the annual goal. Student data never leaves your device.
- 1Lock your private workspace
Create a passphrase. It locks your student info on this device.
- 2Add a student
Give them a code (like "JD-7"). Upload the IEP PDF or type in each annual goal with its Q1–Q4 objectives, plus accommodations and service minutes. No objectives yet? Design data-driven goals from scores and notes.
- 3Run your week
Monday: see this quarter's objective for every goal, the accommodations to use and the minutes due. During the week: adapt assignments and log evidence against the current quarterly objective.
- 4Friday wrap-up & quarterly reports
Each week: progress toward the quarterly objective and annual goal, minute gaps and thin-data flags. Each quarter: a progress report draft for the reporting period.
🧾 What you'll need
- The student's IEP open for reference
- About 5 minutes to set up, then ~10 minutes a week
🔐 What happens to your data
- It stays encrypted on this device only.
- Only text you choose to send goes to the AI, with the student code removed, and it's never stored.
- We can't see it.

Accommodation: Chunked assignments. Assignment: "Read 'Why Bees Matter' and write a paragraph on the main idea."
- ☐ Read paragraphs 1–2. Underline one sentence that tells what the whole article is about.
- ☐ Read paragraphs 3–4. Circle two facts that explain why bees matter.
- ☐ Write: "The main idea is ____. One detail is ____. Another detail is ____."
Goal reminder: Goal 1 (main idea): note whether the student found the main idea on their own, and record it in the Evidence log.
🔒 Open your private workspace
First time? Make up a passphrase (8+ characters) and type it below. That creates your workspace. Coming back? Type the same passphrase.
Write it down somewhere safe: it can't be recovered, not even by us. To move to another device or share with your case manager, use Export encrypted backup inside.
Have a backup file from another device or a colleague? Import it here.
Not legal advice. The IEP team makes all decisions. This tool helps carry out an existing IEP. Use student codes or initials only, never names, birthdates or ID numbers. Drafts are for case manager review.
🌅 Monday plan
✍️ Log during the week
Columns: date, service, minutes (exports from most IEP systems work).
🎉 Friday wrap-up
📥 Import from your IEP system
Upload an IEP exported as PDF or Word. Works with PDFs exported from Frontline, SEIS, PowerSchool Special Programs, IEP Writer, Goalbook and more. The file is read on this device. Names, birth dates and ID numbers are removed before anything goes to the AI, and you review everything before it's saved.
Review before saving
Edit anything that looks off. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
🔌 Direct connections coming for districts. Live sync with IEP systems requires a district data-privacy agreement. Tell us your district is interested.
Annual goals & quarterly objectives
🎯 Data-driven goals
Bring the data: assessment scores (DIBELS, i-Ready, MAP, curriculum-based measures), work samples, observation notes and last year's progress. The AI summarizes present levels with the data points cited, computes baseline and growth rate, compares to the grade-level benchmark you give, then drafts measurable annual goals with four quarterly objectives stepping from baseline to target, and explains why. Everything is redacted on this device first, and it's all a draft for the IEP team.
Review the drafted goals
Edit anything, then save to the profile. Drafts stay marked [DRAFT] until your team reviews them.
One-click versions for:
Each annual goal shows its year-long trend with quarter markers, quarterly targets and the annual target. Use the 📝 buttons at the end of each quarter to draft a progress report for your IEP progress-reporting period.

Frequently asked questions
Is student data stored on your servers?
No. Profiles, logs and notes are stored only on your device, encrypted with your passphrase. When you use an AI action, only the minimal de-identified text for that action is sent, and nothing is stored or logged on our side.
How do I share with my case manager?
Use Export backup. It creates an encrypted file; share it and the passphrase separately (for example, the file by email and the passphrase in person or by phone). They use Import backup.
How do annual goals and quarterly objectives work here?
Each goal is an annual goal with a target for the end of the IEP year. Under it are four quarterly objectives (Q1–Q4 short-term benchmarks), with quarter dates set from the IEP start date. Evidence you log goes to the current quarter's objective and rolls up to the annual goal, and you can draft a progress report at the end of each quarter. Missing objectives? It can draft them for team review.
Can it help write goals from data?
Yes. In Design goals from data, add assessment scores (DIBELS, i-Ready, MAP, CBMs), work samples, notes and prior-year progress. It cites the data, computes baseline and growth rate, and drafts annual goals with quarterly objectives and a "why this target" explanation, all as a draft for the IEP team.
Does this replace the IEP team?
No. It helps you carry out the IEP week to week and gather clear evidence. The IEP team makes every decision. Nothing here is legal advice.
What does it cost?
Profiles, logs, charts and service tracking are free and unlimited. AI actions share the 2 free uses with the Lesson Plan Generator; Pro is unlimited.
