Frequently asked questions

What is Skip the Gatekeepers?

A practical AI education brand for teachers, parents, and students aged 13 and up. We teach people to do real work with AI (lesson plans, apps, research, family logistics) and publish a weekly ranked list of AI tools sorted by what each one is actually good for.

Is this a way to cheat with AI?

No. We never help anyone pass off AI output as their own graded work, take tests, or get around school AI policies. We skip gatekeeping, not learning. Read our integrity policy.

Who is it for?

Teachers first (prep time), students 13+ (portfolio-quality projects), and parents (homework explainers that teach, and school-email-to-calendar workflows). Real-money investing content is for adults 18+ only.

How much does it cost?

The weekly newsletter has a free tier. A paid Tool Rankings Pro tier and a Teacher Pro plan are planned; prices are still being tested.

Do you take money from the tools you rank?

Sponsors and affiliates never affect scores or rank, and all sponsored placements are labeled. See how we rank and make money.

Is it safe for kids?

We do not target children under 13, collect minimal data, and never ask teachers to enter identifiable student information.
